About ColorSwoop

ColorSwoop exists because finding a good color palette should take seconds, not an afternoon.

What you get

How palettes are made

Our palettes come from two sources. A hand-curated set of designer favorites, and a generation pipeline that builds combinations from classic color-harmony rules (analogous, complementary, triadic, split-complementary, monochromatic and accent schemes) inside the perceptually uniform OKLCH color space, then filters out anything muddy, too similar or low-contrast. Every palette is checked so its colors are distinguishable and its names describe the actual colors.

Licensing

Colors cannot be copyrighted. Every palette on ColorSwoop is released under CC0: use them in any personal or commercial project with no attribution.

How we keep it free

ColorSwoop is supported by unobtrusive advertising. There are no accounts, no paywalls and no tracking beyond standard, anonymized analytics. Likes and saved palettes are stored in your own browser.
